Three day roadshow

I was immerse with joy during the roadshow. It was the rare few times where I was paid to have fun. Job scope was easy, no pressure. I was also assign the easiest job, or that what I believe. The task was to distribute brochures, fans, balloons or tote bags near the entrance under the shade. The geographic location assign was good as the blazing sun was avoided and I could interact with the promoters nearby. The whole experience make me rekindle the camp feeling, tiring and dreadful but at the same time able to interact and make new friends.

What I dread the most was the supervisor. He always carry "money can make wonders" attitude. Threatening us with pay deduction for every late arrivals and immediate sacked for eating ice cream. Although I don't mind the later for someone else had to feed me instead. He give me the feeling that we were treated like dirt, like some inferior being.

Another thing I came across was the hostility from the girls. For the very first time, I was definite that they do not belong to the CHIJ family. For the first time, I see the difference clearly. They were less spunky and energetic. More importantly, less caring and loving. When I need a favour, they do not make the effort to help, claiming that they were tired. This will never happen if IJ girls were around.

Aside that, I was glad my cousin came to accompany me. I was glad that I could bully some guys to do my work. Glad to make new friends =)
