Promoter

I had always wanted to be a promoter (crew member at Disneyland came in first) for a vacation job. They are often seen as young, fun-loving, charismatic and neatly groom. At roadshows, their colleagues were mostly of their age, pretty face too. In addition, they get paid to talk. At least it beats mundane admin job. So there you go, a promoter job I got.

Quick enough, I realise it wasn't as glamorous as perceived. This job that I got require some hard selling and target to be met. It was quite stressful for me when I started off. I often felt dejected when I got rejected, a feeling that I was a scum of the society. Although I learn not to brood over it, the fear still persist.

Good thing was that, so far, my supervisor had been encouraging. I hate to be told off. The working hours is also relatively flexible (I am able to take break for holiday and choose the day off) and short. Although earn not much due to short hour, the income is sufficient. What I enjoy the most was talking with friends.
